Quoth the Raven Editorial: Fiction Editing and Proofreading

Hello writers!

I’m thrilled to introduce a new chapter in my journey as a writer and editor: Quoth the Raven Editorial is officially accepting new clients for fiction editing!

Whether you’re looking to self-publish or submit to agents or publishers, I’m here to help shape your narrative into its best possible form.

At Quoth the Raven, I welcome submissions ranging from short stories to novel-length manuscripts that are either speculative fiction (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc.), romance, or any combination of these.

As an avid reader across numerous genres and subgenres, I embrace the diversity of storytelling. Have a manuscript that’s a fusion of historical steampunk fantasy romance? Count me in—I’m ready to embark on this journey with you and your unique story!

I’ve always been a voracious reader and loved the idea of dissecting the inner workings of storytelling. To me, drafts are akin to puzzles. Each time you complete a first, second, or third round of editing, you slowly insert each puzzle piece into its slot, maybe relocate some, and carefully craft the elements that will soon be your finalized draft. The picture starts to take shape until the final puzzle piece brings it all together.

Yet, as writers, we understand that the path to perfection is paved with revisions and challenges. Rest assured, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I’ll offer constructive feedback and guidance to elevate your work to its fullest potential.

That’s why I’m here to help! I offer three editing packages: Content Editing, Copy/Line Editing, and Proofreading. Click below to see in-depth descriptions of each service:

Since I was young, I knew I wanted to pursue my passion for all things books. Whether it was reading, writing, or editing them, I wanted to be surrounded by them always! That’s why I went to school for English an undergrad degree and then received my MFA in Creative Writing. While there, I also got a Professional Writing Certificate.

For novels, you can reach out to me via email or social media to tell me about your work, and we can discuss how you’d like to move forward.

I’ll be posting again soon to answer some frequently asked questions about content editing. If there’s anything you’d like to know, don’t hesitate to ask.

Thanks for reading!
